Strandfontein Primary is dedicated to providing an education that fully realizes each child’s potential. Our ethos, ‘Striving for perfection’ inspires towards excellence in education. We have advanced considerably towards creating the most favourable conditions for teaching and learning. 

We have exceptional staff that are well qualified and experienced. Their fundamental strength is the subject knowledge gathered over time. Educators have consolidated into proficient teams, complemented by an astute SMT. 

Our Education Programme provides detailed Curriculum Plans as compiled from CAPS. Classrooms are provided with the required resources and further enhanced by the teacher’s own creativity to make a stimulating classroom atmosphere. 

Educators are equally adept at traditional teaching methods and innovations, inspired by ICT. We factor excursions and online teaching into our programme thereby facilitating the best possible learning and teaching experience for our learners. We are delighted by the projectors sourced to enhance digital blended teaching methodologies. Our Science Lab is outdated. Nevertheless, it is a functional science laboratory where experiments can be performed. 

We have designed an Extra Curriculum Programme, with a core focus of ‘sustainability’. By this model we have selected committed code conveners with great passion for their codes. Our immediate aim is to sustain these codes in order to nurture the learners’ physical and social development.
